Masterclass with Marcos Siega

Marcos Siega is an award-winning director and producer best known for directing such acclaimed television series as Dexter, True Blood, You, Veronica Mars, Tyrant, The Flight Attendant, and The Following. He directed the Pilot Episodes and Executive Produced such series as “The Vampire Diaries” (CW), “Charlie’s Angeles” (ABC), “The Passage” (FOX), “The Following” (FOX), “Time after Time (ABC), “God Friended Me” (CBS), and “Batwoman” (CW). He also served as Executive Producer on “Outlaw” (NBC), “Blindspot” (NBC), and “YOU” (Netflix). Marcos is currently Executive Producing and Directing a ten episode revival of “Dexter” for Showtime. Pretty Persuasion, the film he produced and directed, starring Evan Rachel Wood, Selma Blair, Ron Livingston, and Jane Krakowski was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. The Film sold to the Samuel Goldwyn Company and brought Siega to the attention of Castle Rock Entertainment and Warner Independent Pictures where he directed the Dark Satire “Chaos Theory” starring Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer. Marcos’s award winning music videos include artists such as WEEZER, BLINK 182, PAPA ROACH, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, and JURRASSIC FIVE to name a few. His Commercial clients among others include RED STRIPE BEER, GUINESS BEER, DORITOS, MICROSOFT, and YAHOO.
